this is really nice, reminds me of tod dockstader a bit. did
you say all the cwtches are generative?

Yep all generative. This one is all solo bits. Each
alternate track (2,4,6 etc) contains a generated synth patch
too, rather than a crafted one.

I like these. the even tracks have been more enjoyable so
far as the patches sound better to my ears than piano tones.
would you care to explain a little bit more about how these
are made? "generative" is a broad term when talking about
music and I'd like to know more, since te sequences in the
tracks with generative patches seem to go quite well with
said sounds.

Will give it a try tonight. That cover, I’ve felt like my
face was doing that before, while on acid.

pitsford sounds like when you're in the movie The Thing and
all these alien tentacles start coming out of your face and
squirming around. Maybe I got that vision from the face pic.
I still like your human-made stuff a fair deal more, but
these are interesting. Algorithms need more pattern oriented
stuff imo, but have good sound sculpting ability. not sure
what any of the melodies would sound like sped up 200-400
percent.

ennerdale could be good for some evil dead 2/army of
darkness type horror scenes

I walked past someone the other day attempting to explain
this word to two tourists, he looked like a local historian
or summat and he was like 'aaah captive audience' and was
practically going back to the origins of Welsh language...
I'm like that: 'it means hug'... but i kinda wish i waited a
bit cos the 'snug' in the pub is also called a 'cwtch' so
it's not entirely that.... Umbro, u speak the language don't
u ?
