All the infinity grains of sand on other planets don't have to be rendered at all this way, only the surface area grains on local beaches i visit do, which is still impressive. It only renders beneath the surface if I dig.

yes and would you really notice a discrepancy if you came back the next day and the grains of sand were arranged differently? perhaps there is only a scale at where things are kept consistent

Man it's like, my brain is now programmed to do nothing other than give me cognitive dissonance. I'm not sure if it hurts or is entertaining.

Yeah, or even grains 1 foot away vs 50 feet. Maybe at 50 feet they're just a curved surface with no grains.

By the way when I wrote I might see a white rabbit like in the movie the matrix.. i go in to the bathroom, there is a paint splotch on the floor. it is white, not green not black not blue. it has 2 ears a rabbit nose and even an eye. It doesn't look like a red giraffe or a grey scorpion. There's only one weird blotch anywhere that looks like an animal in here, a white rabbit. the matrix might have inserted it like a deja vu. It is getting a bit creepy.

but seriously it is freaky to think about, if you think about it the human mind can only store a finite amount of information so it wouldn't be too difficult to generate all the matter we see and experience, we see the andromeda galaxy through a telescope but we are never practically going to go there, so we will never get a complex rendering just enough to look legit
