reverb the effect that can make your fart sound like an
angel singing. what do you like, what do you wish you had,
what do you use, how do you use it?

I wish I had a decent microphone to record real reverbs. I
whistled in a cathedral once and it sounded amazing. I'll
never hear that again.

cathedral whistling is very cool yes. cathedral clapping

designer

Yeah i own one. It is kinda of a cold sounding reverb which
to me is unique in a way. Also as a sound design element it
is amazing. If you have a few thing to modulate it with its
very fun.

!!! its so much more than a reverb. i watched a few youtube
clips, definitely one i would love to play around with.

also the mungo stuff is fascinating. he made the first
convolution reverb in rack format

here are some nice demos

Hey Indie, I can recommend something for that. Get yourself
one of these! The mics on them are amazingly sensitive.
I've got the older "non-pro" version and it's definitely
capable of picking up the room reverb from a cathedral
whistle, etc. It's small enough you can carry it with your
in your bag forever. Go for it, homie.

A friend of mine has an old H2N and honestly his sounds
great as well, but that's based mostly on near-field
recordings of like acoustic guitar and small rooms. But I'm
not sure if there's much (or any) mic difference between the
H4N and the H2N, though, so you may be able to save money
and achieve the same results with the H2 if it's not
something you want to spend a lot of cash on. I'm repeatedly
amazed by how good my friend's acoustic guitar sounds
recorded through his H2N, for what it's worth. Hopefully
this helps ya out. :)
