Fave music t shirt

There’s a few I hold dear but after 2000 I kinda stop
buying tshirts of the artists I liked. Until recently when I
got a cheetah tee coz of the colour and the fact it was my
birthday and didn’t know what to say when asked what I
wanted. My wife got me the shirt, but recently after a row
she threw it away without me knowing... I might get one of
the new Autechre shirts as my birthday is coming up!

Anyway, whaz tees do you hold dear? Do you still have some
really old ones? My oldest must be a Yes one, or maybe that
“kicking squealing Gucci little piggy” Radiohead one. I
had another fun one by them which said “we hope that you
choke”.

When I was 10 I loved my Beavis and Butthead t shirt, it was
a picture of them moshing. Later I had a Prodigy t shirt
that I can barely remember. Never had an "idm" shirt.
Besides, my size is so big now they don't make them big
enough for umbroman. :-)

I ordered this old Odd Future 'EARL' tee back in 2010 online

it was before Tyler, The Creator's big hit Goblin album
dropped and I got a back order email from the merch site and
I sent some email back. Turns out they're Odd Future's token
white friend in the group was the email merch guy and he
replied "Nirvana is shitty" because my email had Kurt's name
in it.

Token white guy was on Tyler's album cover when it did
release :)

I had a Radiohead bear teeshirt as well, still have it. A
sort of grey-y blue colour. It’s ace yeah.

Umbroman, I have a black wu tang one I got from H&M a good
ten years ago.

H&M sometimes have interesting lincenses, I got a N64
teeshirt there not to long ago, and have a joy disvison
jumper from there. All of my Star Wars tees come from there.

Back in 91 me and my crew tried to mimic the look of the
album cover!

Chodi, cool but I’m not too familiar with that act so
can’t comment too much.

Indeksical, modeselektor were jealous? Sweeet!

Ha ha, that autechre tshirt linked last is so non-innovative
compared to their music. I wonder if their t shirt sales are
greater than their album sales. At the very least it is
brand awareness/advertising fail. The people from walmart
who look at that shirt will be slightly confused before
being hypnotized by a dorritos bag competing for their
attention. T shirts and logos are for the masses to hop on a
trendy bandwagon. Aphex/autechre's music are creatively
opposite of such shallow facades. I only wear solid color
shirts like a communist. Stephan kinsella mentioned some
lawyer bullshit about intellectual property- law apparently
doesn't allow copyrighting clothing, so instead companies
put logos/branding on clothing and copyright that.
Everything is just bullshit spewing from a hippopotamus
bottom, I mean hipposhit. All right, carry on, sorry for the
lucid t shirt red pill (it was contraband I was hiding in my
bum).

If you want to wear a t shirt with some sort of message it
should troll and trigger people. like just have it say
"farting niggers" on the front, and maybe "autechre" in fine
print too. Wear that shit to walmart (one of the only places
to go in this corporatocracy, really, where they never play
aphex/autechre on the intercom, like principle skinner
banning colored chalk).

Or make autechreofficial dot com and sell that shirt without
their permission, it would be like trolling art, they'd
appreciate it.

We're the only species that wears clothes, yet we have a
word "naked" to refer to the "abnormality", making it
illegal to walk around with your own body. The "clothed" are
the abnormality. Well, I'm gonna take a "naked" stroll
around some elementary schools until some mentally ill
triggered communists arrest me.

autechre. period. How long did whatever creator decide
whether or not to have a period. I don't think there should
be a period. Or a hyphen. Yes I'd like the autechre hyphen
period shirt. There you go one ass stretcher hyphen period
shirt. A shirt business (with a peripheral music side
business).

Do you like to listen to ass stretcher?

I forgot to mention my purple warp tee that’s old and full
of holes. Trying to think of anything else but that’s it
iirc. I have an Exai tee shirt but have been worried to
mention it in case wmw decides to let me know how he feels
about it.

I always imagined you as being the “naked” type btw,
“Ian”! Flapping your genitals around and into peoples
faces on the subway shouting “we were born naked, stop the
clothing oppression!”. Probably all while repetitively
bashing a small cymbal.
