Btw I’m not implying that people have to enjoy Autechre. I just feel people don’t give their music much of a chance anymore. Their music isn’t about sticking the record on and “getting it” right away. Their music tends to reward the listener for their time put in listening. Something most people today don’t want to have to invest in, generally we tend to want instant gratification, and if that doesn’t happen we discard the material, often thinking that we simply don’t like it. |

Don’t believe the hype that there’s no more composition work going on. You can Jam with stuff you’ve already written. Anyway fair enough if it doesn’t please ya. I do understand what you mean, but trust me they still write tunes. I guess it’s how they arrange a track that has changed. I thought nts was fresher and far more varied than elseq and the recent live stuff. Aaaanyway. |

Cool! There’s an awful lot to digest but for me it’s one of their most diverse records and I enjoy that. I still make 1 hour compilations most of the time. |
