the mini snes is a great thing, but i wanted some handheld for retro gaming. i looked around but everything i saw was either too big, too expensive or too time consuming to mod so i decided to buy this little gem: |

you can get it cheaper, when you buy directly from ali express but there seem to be a few different versions around and i didn't wanted to take a risk and have more work with it and put opendingux on this myself. i put the whole c46 library on it, it can play snes and everything from sega, also it plays duke 3d and doom1,2 and lots of their mods which is just great so yesterday i read this :D put ya name on this china trash and double the price |

i put so much stuff on this thing, because i have so much time right now and i can't sit around and read or sleep some stuff on this thing (most things added by me): – 3000 amiga 500 games – lots atari 2600 games – 20.000 c64 games – cave story – doom – doom2 – heretic – strife – due nukem 3d – quake – rise of the triad – hexen – batman doom – ghostbusters doom – sunlust doom – ultimate simpsons doom – wolfenstein 3d also it has hundreds of nes, snes, gameboy and sega games ah, and i also added a few psx games. most run fairly well |

yes, it sucks. i feel a little trapped. i get sinus infections easily and i don't want to take antibiotics again. also i have a pretty present tinnitus, lately. maybe its just because im hanging in my apartment for almost a week now that i start hearing beeps i think its more because of my high blood pressure, or my chronic sinusitis. i hope its not because of that loud afx concert in berlin that i went to a few weeks ago. i didn't wear any earplugs and im regretting it |

arg, shit. im sorry, to read that. do you know what caused it? a good friend had a tinnitus for a long time but it got better eventually. his was definitively stress induced, he has problems with public places and has panic attacks |

On the subject, I was really into the idea of a PlayStation classic, but I won’t be getting it. 9 games run in PAL for a start, and there’s only a two or three games I’d really play (including Rayman and FF7). It’s wonderful to stick the snes or nes classic on and play. 2D ages well and the gameplay remains perfect. Most of the games available for the PlayStation classic have visually aged pretty badly, and controls can feel clunky. On the other hand, and even considering the mixed reception, I really wouldn’t mind a Neo Geo mini! Everyday I hesitate, sometimes even going to the store to look at it. |

you can definitely do that with the vice emulator for c64 and most other emulators on there. i couldn't find that feature on the uae4all emulator for amiga500, but i think it should be possible |

I’m actually not really into emulation much. But being a nineties era fanboy I gladly gave Nintendo money for their classic mini consoles, and I’m happy to do the same with Neo Geo. 40 ace games, lovely mini arcade cabinet, and totally legal. As for playing it in the big screen, I feel it looks fine and it certainly doesn’t bother me. I feel that most reviews just copy each other. What I find hilarious is that a lot of reviews I checked out before buying make it out to be bad, all the while praising the emulation, the mini screen, and the games. Aaaanyway. I’m a happy bunny. Just tried it out and it’s ace. Won’t be getting the classi PlayStation though. Early 3D games don’t age well, contrary to 2D stuff. |
