As a new feature at Xltronic.com let's share Album
Handfulsâ„¢.

Gee, what's that?!

An album handful is a batch of five to ten albums that go
well together as a quick playlist. Here's my current
handful:

Dub Surgeon - The Lost Future
Hinosch - Hands
Hiro Kone - Pure Expenditure
Jako Maron - The Electro Maloya Experiments Of Jako Maron
Pin Park - Krautpark
Robert Lippok - Applied Autonomy
The Lotus Eaters - Desatura
Topdown Dialectic - Topdown Dialectic

Album Handfulsâ„¢ may be used on desktop, laptop, mp3
player, phone, tablet, or burned CD-RW ^_^

note: DO NOT USE SPECIAL CHARACTERS IN THREAD TITLES.

I have done this as an example to show everyone what not to
do.

Carry on.

Very Good.

Handfülsa, a buxom blonde valkyrie, is now the official
mascot of Album Handuls.

Fuck, this thread brings me back to The 2000's when my Mom
had a 5-CD Carousel and we would fight over which 5 CD's to
put on Shuffle Mode for our Dog to listen to when we went
out. I'm ashamed to say my taste was fucking garbage back
then (not that Mom's was any better). Think the Most Boring,
Whitest Shit Imaginable. Eventually my Step Dad got us a
100-CD Changer and Me and my Mom each got to put 50 CDs in
it. I didn't even have 50 CDs at that point so it was easy
for me to choose!

Anymore I'm not much of an albums guy, I prefer YouTube.

my mum still has a 5 cd changer, I keep telling her to get a
music centre with no moving parts with better sound quality
but I guess shes stuck in her ways now

I knew what he meant all along. It’s a word we use
sometimes.

that maloya of maron thing is awesum, phl33tmaus bringing
the stripped-back 6/8 shit. is there some repository of good
links i'm missing out on? first i'm hearing of all these
albums, i feel horribly out of touch. might try to do a
grime playlist soon, though i mostly listen on youtube music
(tenner a month but worth it) so the links are kind of
proprietary

One of my favourite procrastinations is listening to samples
of new and recommended stuff on Resident Advisor, Spotify,
Boomkat, Factmag, Bandcamp, etc. - I found the Jako Maron on
RA

How is Youtube Music for recommendations and algorithming up
your taste buds? Spotify is awesome for that, I can only
imagine Youtube wouold continue its tradition of
recommending me lots of Ben Shapiro DESTROYS liberals with
LOGIC

the endless playlist thing is even better on youtube music
so i cancelled my spotify subscription, it's that good. best
thing about it is that if you plug in something obscure
you'll generally get something obscure back, spotify plays a
little safe i find. plus you can just listen to any track in
the background which is great on phone

I'm checking it out now, my god is it a clone of Spotify or
what, I mean did they steal the CSS

will give it a good shakedown by looking up obscure shit and
seeing what it coughs up
