Hi guys, how are you? Nice chilly Sunday today, listened to
Susumu Yokota in the park. Just changed my mum's nappy and
am going to have some tomato soup and a cheese and pickle
sandwich.

What you all up to?

It’s a cloudy day here, all cosy at home. Watching some
football and will then either put a movie on or play Zelda:
a Link to the Past. Will probably read book 2 of Chiisakobe
as well. Actually I’ve changed my mind and will read
instead of watching something.

I’m hoping the price will drop sooner or later. I’d like
to play the new Zelda for sure.

Yeah it's 280 quid here for the base unit, just a bit too
pricey. I do travel enough to justify a portable system but
I could get a scrappy little laptop for that price and fill
it with thousands of old roms.

Sounds lush, I've had a stilton and beef one before which
was amazing.

Neighbour bought us round some lasagne which looks a bit off
BUT also a freshly made creme brulee which I am gonna
annihilate.

I ended up watching the whole clip. It was a bit like
watching an infomercial: you keep watching but you’re not
sure why.

Nice one on getting the switch.

FB request sent.

Yesterday I ate leftover pumpkin pie and watched the new
Doctor Who, which was great for a change. I haven't really
enjoyed it since Amy and Rory left.

Happy to see Switch love here. Got mine on launch, family
pitched in for my birthday. Have spent 100s, if not over
1000 hours on it. BOTW is certainly worth it. As is the new
Mario imo. Just stay away from 1-2 Switch. And I hear Arms
gets old quite fast. Mk8 deluxe is a must ofc. Better
graphics and performance than on Wii U and if u didn’t get
the dlc then that is an added bonus. I do a Tuesday race
night with some locals, which is fun.

In the beginning it was slow going with the amount of games
available but now the eshop is packed. I find myself
re-buying some games I already have on pc, like BS 5, Pan
pan, Thimbleweed park etc. Diablo 3 is coming out 2nd of
November, which I will get again just to play in bed.

Anyway, what’s going on? Glorious holiday ended, back to
work. Spring is in full force, thank fuck. The winter was
pretty miserable and depressing - first time in my life I
can remember actually being excited about summer. Could be
this new house - which was like a fridge - I think if we had
double glazing and central heating I might feel different.
Having to layer up just to go take a shit is not pleasant.

I got a Switch for Little LOL and played through BOTW when
he'd be at school. Agree about the early days, got MK8 and
thought .... oh. And Splatoon 2 didn't seem to be as fun as
the Wii U one. Question: Do you guys play more the tablet,
or plug it in the TV?

I am also mainstreaming fascism. Why? For the lols!

Nice one, dad.

Since my dock broke and I’m unable to get it replaced at
this point - I’ve gone fully tablet. Used to be 50/50

I noticed that the price of a switch has gone up. And it’s
not just inflation since the xbones and ps4s are still
getting cheaper.

Lee from DPD will be with me in 2 hours. He couldn't work
out the buzzer system last time and had to attempt
redelivery of my package three times so I waited in three
days. I've got an eye out the window this time.

Got Mario odyssey, zelda, and Mario kart and a 128gb SD card
to fill up with smaller games. Skipped the Wii u so am
doubly excited for Mario kart
