There, so you can't inadvertantly click it.

I've not put up a page for my music and it's called
'Centerville'

http://members.lycos.co.uk/okhrana/

http://members.lycos.co.uk/okhrana/Okhrana-Centerville.mp3

I'd like to know what you think. Cheers

Yo bennie, i downloaded your track - love the subtle talking
in it, but it went a bit downhill after the beginning :S

that it was your first track on you FM synth! now i am
downloading Q calls again! maybe i'll even download ray
mears :P

cheers for the feedback marlowe, I wasn't completely happy
with the track and I'm glad you're honest.

When you say the timestretch which bit do you mean?

The samples. The first talking one was of this american
woman talking on the train. I recorded it on the memo
function on my phone! The other one was outside a school
walking past...that was also recorded on my phone!

I'm going to work on another track like it but faster and
get some nicer sounds =)

Q Calls Again took me about a month on and off believe it or
not...as I said on the page I got nearly all the samples
from 45's I went out and bought.

It's probably the most successful of my tracks but I'm a bit
scared of doing another!

As for Ray Mears, I was just arsing around and couldn't
think of anything =)

my pleasure ben - they are all stored on my hard-drive now
;) btw, it was homestretch i said :) i really want
some kind of portable recording device! that would make me
really happy! would i need a portable DAT or something? i'm
really not clued up on technical things :S

anyways, thanX for some good tracks!

PS POST #1967 -- the summer of love!

Actualy, what a lot of people do is buy portable minidisc
recorder's and buy the mic's for them, they are supposed to
be ace.

Think I should chop out some of middle of centerville and
just make it short & snappy but better? =)

Ok.

I´m sending you my tracks, heres some words to consider
when listening.

The first one entitled "ARE YOU GAY"!

It started of with making the drumms. i just made some super
snappy corny sounds and seqenced them at 220 bpm! i like
those corny claps and stuff.
The song is weird, because its a mixture of laughably corny
shit, and some nice emotional synths. a little pitched up
citar melody line, and then some of that secret dirty priest
magic ingredient that makes this song listenable! i really
dig this one so i hope yóu like it.
comparable to some of the songs on drukqs, but i only
realised that after it was done. its wacky wacky.

the other one "magic demo"
its basicly a frisky little emotional tune. i want to spice
both tracks up with some pítched up/down lyrics. it would
make it cool.

i just think somehow i struck a goldmine with these songs. i
really like them myself. you could say i´m on the way to
find my niche.
