Apparently it's pretty good. Sir and Ms LOL have seen it recently and loved it. This might tempt me to go and see next week. Please try not to give the plot away or any special treats. |

I shan't repeat what I said but yes, in summary, I/we thought it was great. Its got some quite surprisingly gritty bits in it, there's tension, you give a shit about the characters, and there's fun and at least an echo of the joy of being in the Star Wars universe and showing a new, more close up view that was, I felt, rewarding and felt authentic. Not at all what I expected, I had zero expectations, but this is a film that (whisper it)... doesn't hate Star Wars, it even kind of likes it. |

Cool : p I love Harrisons Solo so much ...the only difficult thing will be seeing someone else in his place; like going to a party of friends and seeing someone else playing one of my friends. Pretty weird. But i'm sure I can block that out and enjoy it : ) |

Oh really? I was being sarcastic. I’ll go and see it for sure. Probably alone in the middle of the week for the early evening seance. Just the way I like it. My wife won’t see movies at the theatre with me anymore, since the infamous Rogue One event. |

I did think in the film, early on, something. And then Ms LOL about half way through whispered to me the exact same thing I'd been thinking. And it's not necessarily a bad thing. This is more like a Daniel Craig-era Bond movie than a Star Wars film. |
