Do you love coffee?

Just asking. I love it. Some fun stats here..

I was surprised to see Italy wasn’t as big a coffee
consumer as I had thought.

If you don’t like coffee, I bet you like tea. Have yet to
meet someone who likes neither.

(Sorry freqy for the source of the article. I understand
that because of the jimmy saville cover up (which seems to
also include every person he’s ever been in contact with),
and the fact Trump has stated that BBC is fake news, that
this must probably be either: fake, manipulating, or with
some sort of sordid agenda, one all these journalists signed
a pact towards.)

I suppose I should just open my eyes, and maybe rely more on
YouTube videos for my information intake.
IlluminatiKiller86’s channel is tickling my fancy.

i started liking coffee a lot, never really was a coffee
drinker in the past. i'm also drinking much less alcohol.
kinda switching from one drug to another. might be because i
have more office work to do these days

i do like coffee but the stuff in hospital is muck, not had
a cafetiere brew in a couple of years. i suppose i could use
my leave to go to the upmarket coffee shop on hospital
grounds but i'd have to be accompanied by staff, which would
just make me feel like more of an invalid than i already do.
shame though, i like a nice caffeine buzz

Dadonck, we always swap around and compensate.

Belb my man, are you ok being there for all this time? I
often think of you, and really wish to see you strolling
towards that sunset someday.

Freqy can hate me for good now, and it’s aaaaaalll
hyperflake’s fault.

On a serious note: i accept and respect everyone and their
beliefs here, and I’m glad we can voice them.

Ok some I respect less, but I would gladly hug freqy if I
met her. I’m sure we would get along in person more so
than on here.

it isn't so bad, but i'm not in great shape
physically, it can be a bit of a downer. i try not to feel
sorry for myself though, still lots to listen to that's new
and exciting, plenty to learn online, funny new comedy etc.
keeps us far saner than any pill could

My old boss loved coffee and a smoke. I've never been into
it much but I used to drink coffee and smoke with him, he
made it so cool and fun.

I'm not a coffee snob either, you can get sachets with
everything in it by Nescafe, all you do is add boiled water.
That's enough for me.

yeah, i came across that 'if you see this youtube video,
that would really open your eyes' attitude in real life,
either.

Yeah Umbro I can handle sachets sometimes, but I do enjoy a
good espresso.

Mohamed, i was surprised to see coffee is expensive in
Italy. I also thought you were bigger consumers of it.

I bloody love coffee, i used to drink like 8 cups a day but
I've cut down to half that now, on average.

Espressos and cappuccinos are my preference although i
mostly just have standard coffee with milk these days as i
dont have a machine any more.

I love tea too. English breakfast, earl grey, green tea,
lapsang, rooibos give it all to me.

Seems like where its coldest the more coffee is consumed, I
can imagine wanting to consume a nice warm beverage in those
conditions. Yes I prefer coffee to tea, I'm not too fussed
on tea

i drink 4 espresso a day, 5 when i wake up at 5 am and the
day is longer, too much. 4 is the right quantity. not a fan
of tea. anyway i dont care that much at the moment honestly,
my dog has had cardiac cough all day.

Sorry to hear that. I understand how you must feel, my dog
is on heart medication, can’t see very well, and went deaf
last year. He’s 14 and still very present though. I do
worry when he desperately tries to cough and goes into a
sort of fit. Give your dog a pat for me!

she will be 17 next december. i joke with her with the fact
that once she will be gone, i will have less work to do.
giving her more attentions as her heart failure becomes more
symptomatic.

in this world like a cute chick speaking french, also proper
french rap is good

That made me lol. Proper German is actually quite nice. Let
me see if I can find a clip of Swiss German!

The first bit is a guy speaking normal German, when you’ve
listened a bit, skip to 2:25.. at 2:29 he begins a tirade is
typical Swiss German (for about 15-20 seconds). It’s
relentless, it’s like hens given the power of speech, and
the master of the “KH” sound, often followed by the the
worst rolling Rs ever. Those that don’t involve the tongue
and only the palate. Spit already.

Oh that’s what Albert is taking. Been on it for a few
years and it’s really helped. He won’t swallow them,
even with treats or hidden in one. I tried forcing him but
never again, but if I crunch the tab into a bit of his food
he’ll usually go for it. Does Maya accept pills?

i already force 'legart' pills (a supplement for her
arthritis) into her throat everyday. i learned to do it
almost surgically, using only one finger and lasting no more
than a second. i would crunch the pills in the food but she
doesnt always eat evertything, so i would be uncertain. the
vet told me the pills are tasty, but to try with ham
(without fat) or turkey slices, but i know she will select
them from the pills. will probably end up doing it with the
force, its half a tab in the morning, half in the evening.
