I don't think it worked on North Korea. Their game has always been to rattle sabers until they get concessions and aid. Trump just played along in their charade, which worked out quite well for them. Now China is helping them rehabilitate their image. Chess, Jesus, it's obvious now that Trump can barely flip a coin. Everyone (inluding me) had this secret hope that he would be smarter than his blustering idiot public image. Certainly the GOP did, now they're ruined and jumping ship. They may have destroyed not only their party but the conservative myth that wealth and position in society is earned and deserved by intelligence, skill and hard work. |
