my question is, why is it so satisfying to watch? and why don't we all make frozen poop knifes ourselves? its the passiveness of virtually experiencing through youtube and it will get worse with VR. in the end, the video-experience is over. but you have nothing. you didn't make your hands dirty, you didn't work, you didn't create but consumed another fantasy. ill go take a dump now

Japanese foil, folded over 100 times, forged as the ancients did over a hob.
Truly the samurai live on.

It’s the craft. The Japanese are really great at it, at details, at making something look nice, at not being scared to work on it patiently. It was kinda hypnotic to watch with the sped up bits. The guy is a bit scary really, could be a serial killer. Imagine how this guy could get rid of a corpse! I bet he’s not telling.

ja, its definitely a craft and nice to watch. i was reading about mirror-neurons. when you watch somebody doing something, the same parts of the brain get activated then when you do it yourself.
