I hate this country.and for the longest time I couldn't
work out why, then today I went to buy a paperback book and
it was nearly 30 dollars (20 quid) and I realised I hate it
because evidently no one reads.

What's your most hated country, irrational xenophobia
welcomed.

my life.

Oh, Umbro, Indeks, do you have a scouse accent?

milder.

Ok I can answer your initial question, in a way. I love
languages, as a safeguard I translate and interpret, and was
lucky enough to learn two languages at once from birth (one
side of the family ily only spoke English, the other
French). Sometimes Spanish can piss me off, as can the male
spaniard’ English accent, but I can tolerate it. As i can
tolerate the speedy, angry sounding Greek, depending on
who’s talking. But, of course there’s a ‘but’...
well spoken German can be utterly beautiful, but I cannot
stand the various Swiss German versions. I don’t mind
saying that I find it to be an utterly detestable and ugly
language. Full of comical tones interspersed with
“kkkhrrrrs” and “hrkkheuytekreustkkkkrrrrrha”
bullshit. It really pains me because I know that Swiss
German people are not as stupid as they fucking sound. When
I hear Steven Gerrard or Jamie Carragher speak, I do wince,
because certain sounds remind me of Swiss German. That
“kkhrrrrr” thing. Fuck me it doesn’t make either of
them sound smart, which they aren’t, but many, many people
form Liverpool are. It’s weird. Sound bias.

That's perfectly natural, we have a concept of what sounds
'dumb' through what we encounter. the brummy accent is seen
as stupid sounding but also very friendly, which i dont
mind. the scousers have it far worse, especially with the
way they've been portrayed on tv for the last few decades.
