yeah I deffo think he will try and extend Russian influence further, he will test the resolve of NATO shortly, sowing discorded wherever he can. He wants the Baltic states back, continuous military manoeuvres on their boarders. America has really taken the eye off the ball last couple of decades with all this meddling with the middle east whilst Russia and China have been scheming |

That's nuts. Reminds me of all the radical freethinkers a couple of years ago parroting and linking RT propaganda on facebook etc. It's so easy and cheap to manipulate people's sentiments, especially by exploiting tribalism. Amy Chua has a new book on the politics and sociology of tribalism - great interview with her on Ezra Klein's podcast. This is Russia's game, within NATO, within the EU and within individual nations - divide and conquer. |
