i'm still getting to grips with it really, 5 album length
releases is a lot to take in. resolutely violent and
industrial-sounding from the get-go though, not an easy
listen but rewards you in spades if you don't treat it as
background music

25 quid for the mp3s is too steep so I've not heard it.

I love it, but it’s a lot of music. I tend to compile 6-7
tracks and only play them for a while. I find myself paying
more and more attention to space and positioning the more I
listen, and certain tracks remind me of classical music.

I’ve never had a problem with their music being too
“difficult” but I don’t think I get feed1, I think I
might be missing something. Foldfree casual, and latentcall
to name a few are really, really good. I could easily
compile ten tracks and put it in my top 5 ae. I like the
longer tracks for when I can’t sleep and put the buds in,
I’m always spotting something new.

It can be seen as 5 albums. For under 10 quid you get an
album in mp3. I guess that’s the norm. I dunno. If you buy
all five you get a discount. It is a lot of music, and
it’s autechre, which means each tracks takes time and many
listens. Again, I dunno.

That's true, it is value for money if you know you're going
to put the time in to it. I guess I'm hesitant because
oversteps and exai didn't really grab me. Fuck it though ill
get it.

I guess my problem isn't 25 quid for the mp3, it's the
massive price hike to the wav files, which is of course what
you'd buy for autechre.
