so the author claims those upper middle class social activists only putting an emphasis on social euqality for "minorities" instead of the vast majority of poor people? i cannot agree to that from the people i know are active.
maybe were not seated high enough in the middle class.
You should get paid fairly for the work you do, no matter what gender you are.

The 23-cent gender pay gap is simply the difference between the average earnings of all men and women working full-time. It does not account for differences in occupations, positions, education, job tenure, or hours worked per week. When all these relevant factors are taken into consideration, the wage gap narrows to about five cents. And no one knows if the five cents is a result of discrimination or some other subtle, hard-to-measure difference between male and female workers. source
The fact that so many educated people never even question the gender wage gap is depressing. ...

Are there any precise reasons why you doubt it, though? The data is there. One can look at it.
Let's look at one of many specific aspects. Women are allowed to study any subject they want at university. One of the most financially rewarding subjects is engineering. But generally they don't choose to study it. So they generally make less money. ... Do you see anything wrong with that? ..
.... (The virus warning and so on is a bit weird. But then again. Why shouldn't the American Enterprise Institute be weird as hell.)
