If it is so great, why have hundreds of millions died from
it?

people in large groups become arseholes as their
individuality becomes diluted

why do some people say it is so bad, and some say it is so
good, yet some say it has never worked ever and only death
and depression comes from it?

Why is corbyn seen around the hammer and sickle, is that
just coincidence.

yeah i think so, i dont think he is a communist, i think
thats just yellow journalism, he is pretty much a mainline
socialist from what i can tell.

From what i can tell about communism, is that it is this
radical utopian idea that seems really appealing but gets
distorted an co opted by megalomaniacs through out 20th
century history, perhaps it would never really work on a
large a scale as a society, where its a great idea if you
share a house with a few people

i.e. it doesn't pay not to be altruistic with sharing duties
in a house like washing dishes, but when it comes to society
needs and desires are so divergent that you cant pursue a
common goal, people are inherently too different personality
wise, i guess

but why did people have to die?

we hear it all the time , 10 million here ...100 million
there?

were there wars? i heard they were intentional
starvations.

i know i should read but i haven’t the focus recently..
ive just been thinking

i thought it was no matter what job you did you didn’t get
more money the harder you worked, it all gets distributed.?
?

hence the motor vehicles in communist countries look like
they came out of sh&t Christmas crackers, cause no one
wants to think or work on excellent designs, cause they
would not get the full fruit $£ of their labour?

yes im not sure its really down to communism in as such but
rather people like stalin who filled a power vacuum, in any
human political system you are always going to get someone
exploiting the power structure. perhaps because people
under communism dont have any financial/political power as
such they are more easily exploited by someone who has
radical ambitions.

yes aesthetics really were secondary to function, i suppose
the idea is why would you want to drive around in a vain
looking car, we are all meant to be equals. where you can
see how i''l conceived the ideological wing of communism
was, as thats totally counter to human nature, we are
asthetuic beings, some more than others

was it a land grab?

kill millions of your own people...then take their homes and
land?

kill all his opponents, political dissidents any one he
didn't like. And work millions to death for a pittance to
keep the economy on an even keel

"Stalin and other party members had ordered that kulaks were
"to be liquidated as a class" and so became a target of the
state. The richer, land-owning peasants were labeled
'kulaks" and were portrayed by the Bolsheviks as class
enemies, which culminated Soviet campaign of political
repressions, including arrests, deportations, and executions
of large numbers of the better-off peasants and their
families in 1929–1932."

im talking a car that functions well not about ego .
communist cars were total cr$p that fell apart. no one gave
a shit about the design,m was it cause they wernt getting
paid or a bit extra somthing in return for good work?.

look at VW beatles 1938 they all looked the same, nothing
vain, that was a car for the people, the things are still
admired today.

the direct successor was the VW Golf!!

extermination of a rural middle class, well what they
categorised as bloodsuckers were in reality peasants who had
more than 2 cows or something. Seems to me it was a way of
gaining power over the means of production.

yeah i saw one of those in a museum, really cool

errm im not sure why they were so shit, probably because
they were designed with the bare minimum functionality.
endless bureaucracy on the design bureaus

Remember that famous Ronald Reagan joke about buying a car
in the Soviet Union? If you haven’t, it goes like this: a
guy in a Soviet country is told he has a 10 year wait for a
car.

This man laid down the money, and the fellow in charge said
to him: Come back in 10 years and get your car.

The man answered: Morning or afternoon?

And the fellow behind the counter said: Ten years from now,
what difference does it make?

And he said: Well, the plumber is coming in the morning.

that communism still?

yes their aircraft and military hardware was usually shit
hot, i think they know they cant afford to cut corners when
it comes to geopolitics, hence getting the first man in
space, great propaganda victory for the communist system as
well as great tech advance

so the engineers get paid more and given specail
proivaledges to encourage them. or maybe not killed also?

meanwhile the common man works down the mine builds roadways
and bakes bread and gets the same wages?

.is that communism?

i really dont know.

its so sort of strain of leninism i guess, how close it is
to Karl Marx vision I have no idea, not very close i suspect

Leninism[1] is a form of Marxism, as formulated by Vladimir
Lenin. It advocates for the use of a vanguard party[2] to
establish a “workers’ state” which will (in theory)
establish the conditions for socialism, at which point the
state will (again, in theory) dissolve itself to create a
perfect communist society. Leninism is heavily influenced by
Blanquism,[3] a non-Marxism form of socialism which Marx
himself opposed.

Classical Marxism[4] on the other hand, advocates for the
direct action of the workers (self-organized, not with a
vanguard party). Marx himself would most likely not have
supported the Soviet Union and Red China; rather, Marx
himself used the Paris Commune[5] as his example of a
prototype socialist society.

so communist leaders slaughter 100 s of millions, pay low
wages to working class and high wages to rocket scientists.

there are people waving hammer and sickle flags in my high
street

what do i say to them? they all vote labour and and want me
to join them...one girl looks cute but i think she is a
third wave feminist.

i thought marxism , or cultural marxism was to end european
culture or at least capitalism.

why are we not taught this at school? i dont wonder.

all i knew was Hitler was a bad man , he also has his own
channel on history tv .

there is no communism channel. yet 100 milli0ons more died.

Anyway Freqy I think you know more about these things than
you let on! I honestly dont know much about the concept of
communism apart from the general idea of the proletariat
seizing power of the means of production from the bourgeois
classes through social revolution.

yes the world wars would have probably not been anywhere so
extensive if the banks had not provided credit to both
sides. capitalism is just as bad really in some regards, its
just the only system that seems to work at the moment until
someone clever thinks of something more equitable to
everyone else

to my mind that sounds like perfectly sound idea, its just
it gets warped because everyone has a different definition

in the case of the soviet union, the vanguard party of the
soviet revolution didn't dissolve and filled the void where
the middle class/aristocracy once was. So essentially all
the poor buggers ended up working for the benefit of the
central bureaucracy rather than each other
