From what i can tell about communism, is that it is this radical utopian idea that seems really appealing but gets distorted an co opted by megalomaniacs through out 20th century history, perhaps it would never really work on a large a scale as a society, where its a great idea if you share a house with a few people |

yes im not sure its really down to communism in as such but rather people like stalin who filled a power vacuum, in any human political system you are always going to get someone exploiting the power structure. perhaps because people under communism dont have any financial/political power as such they are more easily exploited by someone who has radical ambitions. |
