I posted this to reddit and it got downvoted (it
got one downvote after 1 minute), maybe because they thought
I was trolling.

This is what I said:
I like PewDiePie and I liked this little book review. I just
like consuming any opinion on something I also like.
Also I think Consider Phlebas cost me six months to read, on
and off, because it's so slow, like most of Bank's books, so
power to him for finishing it much faster. (I think it was
mostly the last part that took me forever, I don't know
why.) Horza was indeed a great character.

he stopped making videos he doesn't enjoy making (mainly
let's plays) and stopped pretending he liked doing video's
altogether (but he does like what he does now)

That's got to be a joke, Sweden is supposed to be near the
top for Internets, maybe a Swedenish person can clarify

it's probably half a joke
he wanted to be abroad anyway and he literally took the
place with the single best internet in the world

No man can claim to truly understand the times we live in
unless he has been accused of being *literally* Hitler.

I've no opinion on the guy, save the default position I'd
adopt when faced by someone with a name like PewDiePie who
lived then died by YouTube. I'll watch his review of Phlebas
later.

I'm currently taking aaaaggges reading the Iluminatus!
Trilogy, I've had to keep a note of who all the characters
are to stop getting lost.

Or is that the whole point?

i think he technically said someone else was hitler, or let
poor africans say it with a sign. it was kind of funny and
satirical. but media then said he was a nazi, then later he
said the n* word. he really goes into this beautifully in
his picture of dorian gray review, also in this video.

What a great trilogy that is, full of sex and magick and
conspiracy and myth and memorable characters like Hagbard
Celine and The Midget. And it's the only immunization you
ever need against getting brainswarmed by an ideology or
cult meme-complex.

I have finished Illuminatus! now - I felt exhausted when it
was over, and reluctant to leave that world. I do
feel somewhat changed after reading that book.

Sorry if, a bit like at the end of Consider Phlebas, I
derailed the thread.
