I don't want to live in a provincial area of a super state where all the important decisions are made 2 thousand miles away, its bad enough with west minister as it is, monolithic stagnant bureaucracy are just a recipe for inefficiency and corruption, just look at the US and congress/senate, EU would be even worse

I cant believe im saying this, I was pro EU at one stage until I looked into it actually functions, that the issue its that complex and boring most people will get bored by the first paragraph and go oh ok and not think of the consequences

I think there are good things and ideas about a European community but not how it has evolved,

oh yeah, I do like him, yeah I mean I think what colours the debate is that a lot of far right wingers are against the EU because of immigrant reasons, and a lot of people cant be seen to support the same argument as people like that

I think you mean manufactured, intentional, 'mass' immigration reasons.

I guess its a possibility, id have to see the minutes of the tri lateral commission to make sure though, regardless immigration policy seems a bit lackadaisical

I don’t blame them arriving in on the boats. I could so easily have been born else where and would perhaps do the same?
what a terrible situation. These are the strongest people taken from their home towns. The cleverest also, imagine to make that journey, the dedication and strength and courage to do so. Amazing. Yet these people are needed back home to build their countries up.

yeah, I do exactly the same thing if I was in their situation, global inequality is the cause of this, imperialism 19th century to current day exploitation, I guess its a natural consequence of capitalism generating more and more inequality
