I'd guess that playing magic involves making some sort of detrimental pact with dark forces. Why would anyone give you magical powers if it isn't some sort of scam? Why would you sell your soul so cheaply? |

You take a human mind, the necessary materials, and you have a book, or an album. Voilà , the book is in your hands. It’s amazing. I really do think that is what modern magic is about. There’s also dark magic, like what the trolls did with TLJ. Quite a grand scheme that worked quite well. |
