anybody watch this back in the day? i remember being
spooked by it when i was about 9 or 10 so I treated myself
to all 10 series on google play. only partway through series
3 at the moment but i'm enjoying myself a lot, can't beat
mulder for stoking my paranoid tendencies

I remember a couple of really good episodes of the 90s
version of the outer limits as well

one with this professor edited his own genes and started
evolving gill and tentacles on his back and stuff

and another one where these aliens were heading towards
earth and humans had to decide what to do before they
arrived

I loved it, but can’t say I’ve seen more than 30%.
There’s an episode with Burt Reynolds in the very latter
ones (not the new ones) that I remember really enjoying.

I watched it.
I found it entertaining.
Nevet thought there were idiots who based their whole
political agenda on ufo and conspiracy bullshit like Alex
Jones. But here we are in 2017.

I liked the second film that was quite low key. I watched
the series off and on but never followed it, let's say. I
always liked it though

Maybe I should listen to belb and watch it. Properly.

I watched religiously until series 5 or 6 then followed it
more casually. Great show when it's Mulder and Scully.

I loved it, until Mulder left the show and the writing
changed and they decided the "mythology" had to "make sense"
so there was all this malarkey to try to make something that
should have been a hallucinatory fever dream fit in a
spreadsheet. And it still didn't make sense, just sort of
ruined it.

My favorite episodes are the one with Peter Boyle, Clyde
Bruckman's Final Repose, and Jose Chung's "From Outer
Space". Both written by Darin Morgan who wrote other
episodes too. Also Hollywood A.D., the one with the Lazarus
bowl and a film being made about Mulder and Scully. Also The
Post Modern Prometheus, an episode I can only ruin by saying
any more about it.

"Don't go in that room Mulder, the budgetary allowance for
this episode wont allow us to render a realistic enough
alien entity"

back in the days, watching the x-files was an important
ritual for me. after the show they always showed outer
limits which i also watched religiously. that was actually
the best time of the day, when school, people and parents
sucked hard. i was a truth seeking teenager, once...
