yes life seems a series of worries, as you age

Usually of our making.

I mean sure, our society is sick, and it’s painful at
times to be in it, knowing how beautiful this planet is, and
how happy we could be. Yet often we can find that we create
our own problems, and learn to function knowing that “life
is problems”. It doesn’t have to be.

I don't presume to speak for everyone, but seems to me we
are living in unnatural circumstances, that are poisoning
our "souls". If you live in an overcrowded city isn't sort
of loosely analogous to a plant being grown in a dark stuff
cupboard

Yes, but we can’t just give up and feel sorry for
ourselves all the time. It’s healthy to take
responsibility sometimes. Do people want to live in a small
hut in the countryside with no WiFi or takeaways? Doubt it.
I mean that there’s good and bad that came with
industrialisation and mass capitalism.

Trust me, I don’t like this society, which is (as I said
in my previous comment) sick. But the biggest evil is not
only to do nothing about your happiness, but to make
yourself sick because of our society. I’m really speaking
to myself here. Not having a go.

and/or lonely.

I think over all I'm optimistic of the future, I think
future generations will really go through the wringer, but
the way things are just aren't sustainable in the current
configuration,

I wasn't detailed enough in my explanation, but you got the
jist anyway, I think sometimes I can come across as a bit of
a simplistic thinker because I'm lazy when it comes to
typing out a detailed explanation of my thoughts

Yes, there is a lot of suffering at Christmas, I really like
the ethos of Christmas, good will to all men, forget grudges
and make amends,

I enjoy not being around other people. Christmas is great,
usually the world is quite around you, and you just can fuck
around the whole day, doing nothing and get drunk.
I like christmas tho i am an atheist.

Christmas tends to remind me how dysfunctional my families
are.

I used to love it as a kid, but I haven’t really spent a
nice Christmas in 27 years.

I do like giving people gifts.

Sounds like a shit way to start your new year, When I woke
up I looked like a corpse, like someone had just dug me up
out of the ground, and I have to actually start doing stuff
tomorrow. I suppose I have to remind myself its an atypical
time of year so I will feel odd, I think I'm getting better
at dealing with negative emotions as I get older, as its
been such a constantly thing in my life I'm over familiar to
it,

I usually get terribly depressed when its new year, but was
strangely alright this year, last year was better than the
year before, so if 2018 isn't any worse than 2017 I should
be fine

i never get used to the shit that brings this time of the
year, but i like your positive approach. by the way we're
ignorant but this shit has scientific names, like
psychophysical stress or something.

lots of stretches for my bad back before and made me feel
