Yeah RIP to be fair. I wonder if any new outlet will mention
his nude jungle show in his obituary.

In August 2006, a Radio Times poll called it the worst
British television programme ever.[7] In a 2007 interview
with Digital Spy, Chegwin said of Naked Jungle "It's the
worst career move I made in my entire life – if I could
turn the clock back, I would!" He said that due to the
programme's timeslot of 11 pm on a Tuesday, he believed that
it would not have gained as much publicity as it did.

He was quite brave doing that, especially when for the rest
of his life people probably commented on the size of his
flaccid todger. That woman has trimmed her muff to precision

I'm not a Ricky Gervais fan, but I think he has a really
good comedic sense for picking naff british celebs to appear
in his shows

No one who lives in England that I’m aware of likes
Gervais. I don’t mind him. At the time I left fed the
Office, and Extras was actually quite good; and sweet.

Cheg mate.

actively dislike him, my gf really liked the office and that
so ive just been over exposed to him,

I don't like Gervais but I'd take an episode of Extras over
anything by russel howard, michael macintyre, spoon babboon
jimmy carr, that fat Yorkshire man, mrs browns boys etc

I worked in a comedy club for a few years and it surprised
me that most comedians aren't very funny off stage,
obviously you don't expect them to be 'on' all the time but
i did expect them to be interesting to talk to, quick witted
i guess, but most of them just know their carefully crafted
lines by heart and are as dull as me the rest of the time.
Even their zingers to hecklers are from a premade list for
the most part. Joe lycett, alan carr and graham norton were
all very funny offstage so maybe its a gay thing. Dylan
moran was hilarious too but in a 'sad clown raging alcoholic
pissing himself in the corner' way.

everyone you listed are absolutely shite, mrs brown boys
gets a special mention for being particularly dire, why
loads of people watch it rather than something ace like
father ted I never know, find it really depressing,

Mrs browns boys is legitimately insulting.

So Dylan Moran is a bit like his character in Black Books,
and week, most films I’ve seen him in? I like him. Black
Books is great.

Mrs Brown’s Boys is tragically bad/insulting. Does its
success reflect English society? It really is like feeding
the cheapest shit to the pigs.

Actually I like pigs.

You could (more or less) be talking about my wife, and even
if not I’d say that wasn’t a great analogy. If it’s
not the disabled it’s the premenopausal!
;D
