Fakes that got you interested in other Artists

Remember the Oversteps fake, that turned me onto Altered
Carbon (track in question was known(1) being Tinted
Corvettes).

Any fakes that got you on the trail of other artists?

Those Analord ones you hear everywhere. They got me into
Cocksucker Acid MC, and meta trance.

Sorry can’t help, I can only remember ever liking two: an
aphex one not too long ago that I’m pretty sure is
actually Aphex, and an Autechre one Quaristice era (I think;
could be Overtseps).

"Teddy Oggie" was wisp and wisp has some great tracks man.

I used to think Microlith was Monolith,
both amazing artist RIP microlith taken away way too young.

yes he is talented, technically very very good, I like some
of his stuff but a lot of it sounds a bit too twee, like all
he ever listens to is flim 10 times a day. high pitches
optimistic melodies

Pete used to peddle that acid-y Squarepusher track that I
still don't think has ever been properly released, as
Analord. The only recording I have is one Oscilik made at a
live show.

I don't know what's happened to Pete.

What's happened to Pete?
