I was paid my wages today, and I took a look at what was
available on the CD racks. Because I didn't want to spend
all of my money on CDs, I decided I would buy only one of
the following:

Boards of Canada: Geogaddi
Autechre: LP5
Squarepusher: Go Plastic
Plastikman: Sheet One
Plaid: Trainer, or any of their albums actually
U Ziq: Tango 'n' Vectif
Fila Brazilia: any of their albums
Neotropic: any of their albums
Global Goon: their album, whatever it's called

Er, those were my choices

Awesome album for starters.

If you want History...get the Classics alums.

krendo, I think you should go to Nottingham as it has better
music shops than Liecs IMO.

Selectadisc has virtually every autechre release for
example, where in Leics can U get that?

If you can get "autechre: LP5" in Leics. let me know cos
thats the next album i wanna buy !

from your list I'd go for Global Goon (its called Vatican
Nitez)

ps. where R U in Leicester ?

PhystPhukt, I already have ...I Care Because You Do,
Classics, and all the other Aphex albums. Hence, you might
have noticed, I didn't include them in the list...

Hey, Smokehammer, you're from Leicester! I'm currently at
the University of Leicester library. I agree with you that
the music shops in Leicester are crap, but HMV normally
stocks Autechre and stuff like that.
PS: Where are you in Leicester?
