He moved to hollywood and got distracted by making music. I
worked with a guy that used to help him out in the studio.
For a while he (the guy, not Cunningham) was commuting to
from London to LA for 3 or 4 days a week of work, but
Cunningham is so OTT perfectionist that they never seemed to
get anything done so he packed it in because the travelling
was doing his head in.

I think cunningham mostly does advert stuff these days
right?

He is writing, and going to direct his first movie, a movie
which those with the money will want to manipulate, which
won’t please Chris. Sort of in a loop really I guess.
Adverts is it? I guess he’s selective as to who he sells
his soul to. Tough business; those moments in the nineties
were pure creativity, and influenced many. I hope it works
out for him, or even better: that he’s just content as it
is. Is he still doing music videos?

I don't think he's done a music video for like a decade? I
wonder what movie he's doing, maybe his Neuromancer is back
on the cards

i read in an aphex twin interview, which you all might know,
that he made a zombie movie but pulled it back, because
zombie stuff appears to be too much in fashion these days.
aphex then added that hes much too sensitive about things,
which adds up with what indeksical said. i think i would
like him alot personally. and he brought me to aphex twin,
as ive always been more of a visual person and i discovered
aphex twin through his music videos

You think you would like him a lot, do you? Is this in some
fantasy where you hang out and become best mates? I’m sure
he’d really understand you as a person, in this fantasy,
and possibly become fascinated by your artistic potential.
:D

just messing! :P

actually its not about the art at all, i tend to surround
myself with people that have mental problems. my mother
always talked to me about her problems rather then talking
to my dad, at a very young age. so im attracted to people
with issues. thats why im here :P

its really interesting. im quite open and nice to others.
but i just moved into another city. im living here for 6
months now, and i already have most of the neurotic,
depressed, weirdos flying like moths around me. well, they
are the most intersting people always, but theyre a bunch of
work. if my grades in school would hav been better i would
have become a psychiatrist. and i would be excellent at it.
i would never say this about my art

Oh, I get that totally.

As I age I tend to shed weight in regards to friends with
issues. I can really tell who is damaging now, and who
doesn’t want to ever change. Yes they’re different and
it’s refreshing, but if they’ve given up on being a good
person because they hate themselves then fuck them. Often
their shit behaviour with others is down the the fact they
fucking hate who they are, and that’s usually the mother
of all evil, or at least the birth of a lot of evil. Haring
yourself. People who hate themselves often manipulate
others, and treat others in ways that reflect their
problems. It’s a seed of evil that’s planted
continuously by humans.

ya, its quite simple but its very true. how can u love
somebody else, when u dont even love yourself. i actually
know some women, who are like this. and its making me sad to
see them being caught in this loop

i always try to not take things personally. when people are
angry or manipulative its mostly a projection of them
feeling inferior onto me

this video is pretty good i have to say. but u have to watch
it till the end

it annoys me how he just sat on that talent for all these
years, such a waste. I feel the same about Stephen
Norrington.
