first i liked the scene when the chicks on the couch seemed
to dance in time with the music, but near the end the scene
with the guy that points the finger exactly in time is just
great.

they aren't. its just that some art students look like this,
now. they appropriate working class culture – but for what
reason im not shure – maybe its their way of looking
authentic, or urban whatever that means – most of these
people who look like this now, come from families with
higher income and/or more intellectual capital, i would
assume. i don't have any statistics here in my headquarter,
so i might just talk bullshit. but i think its a
perspective. another way of looking at it would be that its
celebrating rave nostalgia, and i would also count ceephax
acid crew as a nostalgist in the best way. so i have mixed
feelings when watching that video that i also enjoy. im
fucked

i see. i didn't think of them as working class though. they
are also from another era, probably early 90's? i don't
know. i can understand going for cheap clothing as a
political statement but there is also style involved if
people are wearing clothing like those in the video today.
which reminds me of hipsters who have no sort of statement
or philosophy behind their doings.

Its hipsters who wear it today. Theres no statement involved
its just in fashion.
