I've never been a follower or much of a fan, to be honest,
but I just watched an episode of Would I Lie to you (because
i watch the BBC and support Satan) and he was simply
immense. Floored.

Is he a respected comic by today's youth, or is he a boring
has been? I wouldn't know.

So, "bob....comic genius". That was the first time I ever
said that, in my life.

If you have fuck all to say about Mortimer, I gently
recommend posting a sentence that would be your first in
your life. Don't be too wacky/wMw, that's easy.

you should try out his podcast "athletico mince", it's
vaguely football themed but heavy on flights of surreal
whimsy. bob's certainly in the running if we're mentioning
comedy geniuses

He once replied to me on Twitter, on the subject of Toast
Toppers. I think I asked what other flavour there was other
than mushroom, and he replied about some other one that
tasted of moth's feet. But then, some other time, I
responded about something and he blocked me. I'm 100% it
wasn't about "the muslims".

I like pretty much everything he does (apart from the
blocking of me), he was even quite good on Pointless. Some
highlights, for me, apart from the regular Vic n Bob canon,
are Catterick, Vic & Bob's Afternoon Delights "Mostly Un
Haunted" and I believe he wrote the scripts for those "Matt
Berry does..." shows which I, for one, find hilarious.

Ha ha! This is definitely not the first time you speak of a
celeb blocking you!

Thanks for the suggestions, fellas.

He's a national treasure imo and Catterick is a masterpiece.

I'm in the same situation as you, my girlfriend watches it
but I heard his voice and swivelled one of my eyes. It was a
pleasant surprise

Yeah soaps aren't my thing, but occasional corrie can be
quite funny, at least it isn't never-ending misery like
EastEnders, it doesn't seem to take itself seriously
