It bothers me that he is silent now. His posts were a big part of this place, always stimulating activity. To me it feels like there's an empty space now. Hopefully I'm being dramatic and he's just on holiday and will be back to posting soon. |

I think, and I hope you won't take this badly too mo, that some things got a bit lost in translation. I checked again, and I never said you had to make music to buy food for example. Something you have been stuck on. I really don't care how you make your money. What happened is that I basically thought those particular tracks lacked personality. Something I regret saying the way I did, because what ensued was a headfuck. Also, I don't know if you remember but I posted a few nice comments a while back. I also said it was great you were making tracks with more ease. I also don't "trample" on people. Umbro has been very good at stirring shit up or being rude, I'm sure he understands that if you dish it out, you have to be able to take it in as well. I tend to take what he says with a pinch of salt. As for being on meds, I reckon a lot of us are. My humour is a bit messed up, and I totally accept that I will get it served back to me as well. I just don't understand it from a review. Maybe I'd say things differently, but ultimately I was just expressing my taste, and views. My aim, although it seems I failed, was not to be a prick and have a handbag fight. You made quite a few personal attacks, mo, something I'm still no sure I did, so I hope you're over this, because I am. Of course me not liking some tracks could be seen as an attack on the person who made the tracks, but it shouldn't be. Trust me, plenty of people don't like the spam posted here, they just don't have the guts to say it. In fact this whole episode has made me realize how a few people who call themselves my friends lack the guts to say what they really think. Thanks a lot Portnoy; we've never spoken away from here but you've acted like a friend, or at least someone who understood the situation, without being a dick to mohamed. It was nice to see Descent come out of the bushes too. It's also nice to see that most people who appreciate mohamed have been relatively positive, and have tried to calm things down. |

So yeah, this is over I hope. Mohamed, I hope you can stop on the fact I even apologized to you, for you to understand that my point was not to be a dick. You accepted, but then the next day it was worse. Normally I shrug these things off, but it was at a time where shit was coming left and right, and your ways were the last drop of water in a very full vase. It started to affect me so I stopped coming here for a bit. Things are good now, so even if I have to face more stuff, I'm ready, but I'm pretty sure, and really hope, that this is OVER. 😅 |

On any other forum a moderator would have stepped in and said/done something. We don’t really have that here and people are v passive, things can easily spiral out of control when 2 people argue; the community needs to step in. also you too are from different cultures, speak different languages, so easy to get things mixed up My partner and I speak wholly different languages and her English is very funky. We're fine. Just because I didn't like stuff doesn't take away the fact people enjoyed it as well. About the personality knob, thank god there isn't one! Because then it wouldn't be personal anymore. The personality is in your head, and is your very own, no one else's. I think you have personality, and it's why I said what I said. I will be a bit more careful as to how I put things though.
