I use iOS, and was wondering if you had any recs.

Playing King Rabbit at the moment on the iPad, it's great.
Other than that I play Star Wars galaxy of heroes everyday.
Somehow got totally addicted.

hey...sorry I have some suggestions.

Commute - really fun, try it

First Chapter of Wolf Among us is free - and other Telltale
games offer first bit for free

And Age of Wushu - game basically plays itself - sucks your
battery

I just downloaded kloki which is the free app of the week
and it p good

My girlfriend is obsessed with 2 dots and I can see why

Not sure if they're free but circa infinity / affinity are
top

2 dots is great! Tried Wolf thingy, didn't hook, probably
because I was too impatient at the time and wanting
something more instant.

Thanks guys, will check out the rest!

"Age of Wushu - game basically plays itself - sucks your

That doesn't sound great, Portnoy!

yes, I suppose not.

It’s a mobile mmo - Chinese Wuxia vibes. The graphics are
quite nice and I like the music.

otherwise, it’s a massive waste of time, I like to play
when I’m all monged at the end of the night.

is it pc to say monged? I suppose it comes from Mongoloid,
which as google describes it is “dated and offensive.”

I tried AOW again last night, while I haven’t spent a cent
on it, it is clearly a f2p cash grab. I just have a soft
spot for the becuase I played the desktop version, which has
been described as “the best worst game.”

I was playing some Day of the Tentacle remastered (not keen
on the hd graphics, I recommend classic gfx) - not free -
but the iPad 4:3 aspect ratio is perfect for it.

I’m always on the look out for 4:3 content on the ipad.

So I was looking for some stuff

http://ipad.sarien.net - some old sierra games u can play
free on ipad - unfortunately afaict there is no sound and
the controls are a bit uncomfortable. Still kind of cool I
guess.

I found this app AemulaOldies - but again the controlling
the games on the virtual keyboard is no fun.

I love day of the tentacle, i suppose the remaster was worth
it just for the enhanced audio

I just read that if you have a mac computer you can compile
scummvm and run it on an ipad and play all supported games
for free.

Ooo! I will have to jailbreak the iPad I guess. I read
something about a snes emulator too. Would love to have
Mario kart on the iPad.

Doesn't need to be jailbroken! you just need to open a free
apple developer account. That lets you run unsigned code on
your devices.

I think everyone can agree on those Lucas Arts adventures -
those were the AAA games of the day, before 3d and 1st
person really came along.

We all have our favs. DOTT and Sam & Max are mine.

RE:dosbox etc

I still want to get a dedicated dosbox/older games/maybe
mame machine, nothing fancy, some old cheap box with a
regular 4:3 flatscreen, should do the job.

DOTT & S&M are m fav LA adventures. Not that it matters
about having favs and top 10s or whatevs, but Space Quest 2
is my all time number 1 adventure game. Taught me English.
