to RD man, some time ago aphex twin retweeted a track on soundcloud. i listened to it, it wasn't acid or some aphex clone, it was plain and simple techno, so perfect, with the few elements going together and even fitter drum additions. with simple but frankly mindblowing transformations of sounds. but at the same time clean and transmitting calm. thats the music i would be able to do, but not at that level now! |

Actually having a go at me about my wedding for no ducking reason just shows how low some people can go. Really, really low. I only mentioned going through a hard patch. Mohamed, you've been defending your music as being not something, but you haven't spoken to what it is, what it means to you, and how the process is something that is an output of yourself. You have dreams of conquering music, and bettering yourself, and it's a positive thing. Not everyone will enjoy your music, and even if they do, they may get something different from it than you envisaged. The music is your own, but there are people out there who want you to reach your goal, and will tell you directly what they think. These are things to consider, avenues to explore. I've sent RD music before, and he's nothing but honest about what he hears, which is refreshing. I'd much rather hear someone's genuine reaction, than telling me it's all fine and proper. It's always difficult to read, or hear criticism of your work, but it's your choice to take it on, or ignore it. Attacking someone because they put their emotional response direct is the easy way out. Anyway I love you all and I've packed sandwiches. |
