i played the magic tree music , right at the point when the illusionary vader appears to confront Luke,that sound, over the top of the video of empire strikes back, right at the point when vader appears on cloud city to confront luke for the first time. just by chance messing about, now that was freqin weird. |

up until last week i was watching everything on a tiny 15 inch tv and my wide screen monitor, i managed to repair the larger flat screen by getting a replacement part (chromatic distortion, needed t-con board fixed), so been watching all my blu rays again of an evening now, great fun. haven't got an amp or anything connected to it so sound is sub optimal |

you really do need to upgrade y sound tho. dont you have any speakers? you could get an old all analog amp off ebay Cant go too wrong with an Marantz. they cheap too. |

i used to have an old rotel solid state amp my brother gave me that was fun, i will get one sometime, everything sounds trebley and one dimensional on normal tv speakers |

you need bout 600 watt? there is a formula to get the best watt psu to high watt rating= inefficient . i think you run a benchmark note down its usage at peak and x 2. or sumat. |

yes PSU i think i will end up paying over the odds for a decent one, hopefully in the long run it will be worth it, yes my dream is to live in a detached house in a valley and just blast the music as loud as i wish |
