It seems that there is something wrong in my memories, since i remember that sect to be the Mamluks, but there is no reference on the internet of the arguments im making about them, wikipedia says they are slaves, or slave soldiers. but nowhere is said that they are 'treated' since they are kids to unleash their fury in adulthood, like i remember to have read on the book in those few pages. maybe the truth is in the middle, maybe their dignity is taken off since they are kids to enslave their brains. and therefore vulnerable to brainwashing attempts. |
