thx for recommendations, ill check them out

darth manchu:i dont consider aphex saw works ambient,
i mean "real" ambient ,without beats,or with beats used only
as atmosphere makers, but not with such conventional beats
like in saw

when i think ambient-i think beatless musik

am i clear enough, cuz its really hard to explain on a mb :)
anyway thx for every recommendation...

to rephlex: i have a very slow connection so i cant help
u,sorry

buy them, they are not so rare...

Budd/Eno - The Pearl
Gas - Pop and all other releases (Some of Yagya's stuff
sounds very similar to the Gas' catalog -- try
Konigsforest)
many of the releases on Fax Label
Biosphere - Substrata

Who knows you might even like Monolake Cinemascope.

I have to agree with Darth S.A.WII is the best ambient Cd. I
went to Disney, peaking of course, and my friend made the
best ambient cd of all Aphex Twin. It was fucking amazing.

Either that or I was tooo fucked up this whole weekend to
remember. 4/20.02

digital messiah,

Jochem Paap (Speedy J) - VrsMbntPcs I & II
Pete Namlook & Geir Jenssen
Ritchie Hawtin & Pete Namlook (for Ritchie Hawtin fans
only)
Peter Benisch

Those are all I've heard. The Jochem Paap stuff is very
SAWII.

true..saw85-92 isnt really 'true' ambient
but i would say saw2 is pretty much pure ambient
harold budd is great as someone mentioned (with and without
brian eno)
some of vadislav delay's stuff could probably be called
ambient
also check out stars of the lid and lustmord
also try rotor+...though hes not completely ambient (theres
some clicky beats)...its very nice and relaxed regardless

Isn't Vincent Gallo's CD mostly ambient?

I've only heard a few downloaded tracks.
