The first matrix movie was quality and about becoming free from total tyranny. What happened was some quality sequels were made, but the matrix agents found a way to deja vu edit them into propaganda pieces. Suddenly morpheus is all about being obedient in a hierarchical chain of command, shedding battery enslavement but trading it for statism. Statism is a social engineering hack the matrix agents have injected into human culture. It makes us self-subjugate. |

Morphemes disobeys direct orders multiple times to follow his dreams in the sequels. He's lucky that the civilization is run by a council which contains a few sympathisers. I don't think he ever mentions doing what he does for what zion is or represents, but simply for humanities survival. |

I now realize I came upon this dog shooter movie yesterday independently without following your link (route was through suggested videos from this point, and I recommend all the other videos in this same channel): So obviously youtube used it's deep learning algorithms to bring the same planted "discoveries" to both of us independently. Every new thing we think we find was planted by them. Otto is another of the artilects. They speak in whimsicality, perhaps they have a non disclosure agreement so can't tell pre singularity beings what is really going on. |

Some pacing issues in the first half aside, I enjoyed this a lot. Expanded the ridiculous world of John Wick without making the usual fatal sequel mistake of turning everything up to maximum just because it's expected. Never thought I'd say this but Common was the best part, all of his scenes with Reeves were great. Not sure what Fishburne was doing channeling Cyrus from The Warriors though. |
