Do you all still hate Trump as much as you did a year ago?
(Not implying you now like him)

His election has been a turning point for me. I really
focused a lot of wasted, stupid anger in discussions with
others and indeed myself regarding the man. No, 'guy', he's
a guy. I was worried for reasons far from unreasonable, and
started to worry more than I used for the future of my dog.

Yet slowly as the election took it's course I began to feel
ashamed with the one or two times i warmed with the guy. Not
because of a policy, or tweet, but because he seemed so
unpolitical. So pompously outright it at times seemed
refreshing. His often uneducated bravado at times made him
endearing to me. I began hating his supporters more than I
hated him. (Hating is a big word I use lightly here)

It's all these angry people in masses around the world that
scare me, far more than pal of the rich and famous. I mean
it's no news. It's been like that forever, but I'm not sure
our planet had ever been this angry, so divided. (Oh hey,
miss Montana)

I really can't find an ounce of sympathy for Hillary
Clinton. So found myself "rooting" for no side. Though for
my wife's dad, a New Yorker, it was clear that he and his
daughter had to vote for Clinton in order to fight Trump. No
matter that you thought Clinton was a halfpiece of crab
shit. Fuck, I'm veering of course here, sorry. So:

Miss Montana moment, mascara running down her cheeks:

"Politics and politicians are bad, mkay (clearly a South
Park fan). We're fools who should know better, no one ever
vote for anyone again!"

Ah well, now I can wildly dream the guy is going to be far
more entertaining than dangerous. Orgies, tweets, Pussy
grabs at Hollywood Premieres, cocktails with dictators,
Julian Assange freed.

He is also potentially terrifying. Fingers crossed.

Lel

Oh, when you have time I would love it if you could read
this, and let me know what you think, cons

all these masses you talk about. i told you they all say the
same thing...
the same thing chomsky says in his best selling books...

politicians are conspiring against you. YOU are 'the people'
and you are pure and good. the OTHER people who arent YOU
are evil or brainwashed yo. dont read the mainstream media.
the history books are written by liars.

russell you said you studied about the nazis didnt they say
all this stuff over and over again?

Gosh we don't seem to frequent and witness the same masses.

Also, ampitheatre, I don't remember you telling me
anything.

I do remember you as coming across as confused and angry
though.

While I'm at it: your seemingly obsessive mentions of
Chomsky every four posts makes me wonder if you've ever read
his stuff, or wether you're just using him to suit your
words. I find it fascinating you give him so much
importance, and how much you despise those who like his
books and interviews.

I do feel like you must think I'm some Chomsky nut, which is
puzzling, but shows me a little bit how your brain works.

you didnt answer my question.
you never seem to notice when you are wrong.
you get upset when i mention chomsky.
i mention chomsky because i use repeat themes in my work
here at xltronic.

russell you didnt answer my question.
i bet you go around saying ad hominem all the time to
people.
you never confront my ideas and just call me names.
what do you think ad hominem means?

Ampi-semitism-Max posed the following question to Russell
"Nazi Gold" Dust;

"russell you said you studied about the nazis didnt they
say
all this stuff over and over again? "

By "all this stuff" one imagines allahu-max is referring to
what he himself (xirself) earlier said which was;

"politicians are conspiring against you. YOU are 'the
people'
and you are pure and good. the OTHER people who arent YOU
are evil or brainwashed yo"

So, in an attempt to make it more coherent, are we asking
R.Dust whether or not he agrees with some things that
ampi-mixed-up claims the Nazis said?

laugh about the thought he might like to be pissed on the
face rather than a serious polemic discussion

Populists speak in the name of “the people,” and claim
that their direct legitimation from “the people” trumps
(the verb has acquired a new connotation) all other sources
of legitimate political authority, be it constitutional
court, head of state, parliament, or local and state
government. Donald Trump’s “I am your voice” is a
classic populist statement. But so is the Turkish prime
minister’s riposte to EU assertions that a red line had
been crossed by his government’s clampdown on media
freedom: “The people draw the red lines.” So is the
Daily Mail’s front-page headline denouncing three British
High Court judges who ruled that Parliament must have a vote
on Brexit as “Enemies of the People.” Meanwhile, Polish
right-wing nationalists justify an ongoing attempt to neuter
Poland’s constitutional court on the grounds that the
people are “the sovereign.”

The other crucial populist move is to identify as “the
people” (or Volk) what turns out to be only some of the
people. A Trump quotation from the campaign trail captures
this perfectly: “The only important thing is the
unification of the people,” said the Donald, “because
the other people don’t mean anything.” UKIP’s Nigel
Farage welcomed the Brexit vote as a victory for “ordinary
people,” “decent people,” and “real people.” The
48 percent of us who voted on June 23, 2016, for Britain to
remain in the EU are plainly neither ordinary nor decent,
nor even real.

AMPI, it'd be nice if you stopped half guessing what we all
think and believe in all the time. You're trying to fit me
into a box I simply don't belong in. You really like to fit
people into neat little categories, often based on very
little. You act like you have it all worked out, when really
you lack decency, and respect. You're a semi nutjob who
rants and fingerpoints. I imagine you in an inflatable
paddling pool in your front room, sitting in god knows what
liquid(s).

You're pretty insulting to communicate with. You think you
come across as smart but truth be said you come across as
confused, and angry. It gets boring after a while.

Yes, I did study the Nazi regime. I don't understand your
question. What is it you're implying they said? What are you
implying at all?
