Music Match is my fav, esp for batch converting wavs to MP3s

lame for mp3. You can use a good frontend for windows like
RazorLame.

If you are going to share your mp3s to the world, please use
a decent ripper/encoder combo like ExactAudioCopy/RazorLame

Are they freeware? And do the support batch conversion and
CDDB lookup? If so I'll give it a go...

Yes, they are free, but I don't think they are as easy to
set up as MusicMatch. But I think the quality is worth the
effort.

encoders/rippers etc...

You really can't get any better from MP3...

I have a god mac... so I use itunes.. comes with it.. its
fuckin way better than any other music player/encoder.....
its so organizable and customizable..

Yeah really Audiograbber is the only one i'd use apart from
Musicmatch, for PC that is...
