you are right, but still there they are. I wouldn't feel right imposing my sexual preferences on anybody. Why would my heterosexual choice be better than somebody's wish to fuck corpses? Arguing that mine is more natural is dogshit, as both of us do it for pleasure, not for reproduction. So, I think the only thing we can agree on is that we should limit our sexual practices in that way that they don't hurt the community we agree to live in. This all breaks down to a need to live in small communities where people know/ trust each other, that I waxed lyrical on a number of threads in past two months. |

Agree with both of your nice observations, but have to further explain: the fact that somebody's act can hurt others means something only in terms of preserving social entity we live in. Other than that I have no moral judgements to pass. Hurting someone for your pleasure is just that, if you find pleasure in hurting others, well, I'm not the one to judge you from a moral standpoint. Just from the practical: I don't want to live in a community where people would go around hurting other people for fun. |
