During one scene of the original ghostbusters, there was a scene with some of those type of people known as black people, and one of the white guys was like "yada yada spooks" (talking about the ghosts as spooks) and my dad was all like "yada yada you got some spooks right there in this scene" (talkin about the black people as spooks) it was hilarious, no offense to ghosts or black people, I mean they have large penises so they can't really get offended anyway. |

i always was a bit confused by the term spook for black people as it would seem to be more applicable to white people with our pale skin. i know its from the idea black people are harder to see in the dark |

but spook had green skin in the early series. in the movies he was not so green, more pale skin, True he did not glow in the dark....well.... he did at the end of the wrath of Khan when he walked into the nuclear chamber thing to save the ship and crew. he certainly wernt yella. ;p |

i watched the ghost busters today pretty good movie i guess. kinda losses its way in the 2nd 1/2 when it is more action movie style less weird interactions of the characters. IE in the start there is conflint between them but by the end they are more similar personalitys and it makes it not as funy. also there were alot of 1 liner responses that i just didnt hear/understand cuz there was other noise going on in the movie and some jokes i didnt get. slimer was kool but they should of played ndc music whenever he came on the screen. never saw the 1st ghost buster movie so id say my opinion is more objective |
