i wish they did an arabic version of assassin creed to hear
the muezzin oustide mosque, in fact you can hear prayers
coming out from churches and synagogues but not from mosques

yes I think they take extra when it comes to representing
islam in media cos its a bit of a touchy subject I suppose
well for the fanatical minority, id like one set in Egypt
for sure that would be the best one probably

is it a bit unsafe? I have a sort of idea that its like a
huge maze with brick mud buildings, I guess it hasn't been
like that for a 100 years or so, I bet its full of exciting
sights and smells

yeah religious education class, We had a female vicar as our
teacher, and one day I was really tired and said yes sir
instead of yes miss for attendance and she went off at me
like a rocket for 15 minutes, she wasn't very meek and mild
that day!

they never mention shitting your ants in the bible, must
have happened a lot in the desert, 40 days and nights with
nothing to eat but mushrooms, its a recipe for the shits

yes really if you read it with that context the whole thing
about angels and devils and stuff sort of makes sense

especially if you are dehydrated in the middle of a desert
in the bronze age

wahhabism is a scourge,

offline mohamed from the turtle business on 2016-07-07 22:00 [#02499185]
Points: 31145 Status: Regular | Show recordbag

do wahhabism include child abuse?

offline Hyperflake from Wirral (United Kingdom) on 2016-07-07 22:04 [#02499186]
Points: 31007 Status: Lurker

Wahhabism also forbids the driving of motor vehicles by
women. Sexual intercourse out of wedlock may be punished
with beheading[234] although sex out of wedlock is
permissible with a slave women (Prince Bandar bin Sultan was
the product of "a brief encounter" between his father Prince
Sultan bin Abdul Aziz—the Saudi defense minister for many
years—and "his slave, a black servingwoman"),[235] or was
before slavery was banned in Saudi Arabia in 1962.[236]

possibly i dont know for sure, they are just incredibly
fanatical and basically evil really

im not sure you can say slavery is abolished in arab
countries. it is the most shameful thing i have seen while i
was in Egypt, kinda feel ashamed of myself everytime my
relatives ordered something to their servant, a guy called
Said, which used to mop floors with his hands,

my mother was a cleaner herself

sounds grim, i dont know if that is a cultural thing or a
religious thing, its hard to differentiate sometimes, you
know whats sad how Egypt was basically the first advanced
civilization, maths astronomy everything while us Europeans
were still living in mud huts

yes, i think most people dont recognize the middle east is a
very varied place, people are guilty of lumping everything
in with the same basket, i know there are quite a few sects
of Islam and cultural, tribal and ethnic distinctions,
