aphex for being the obvious choice

Funny that pink Floyd. For years it was animals, then atom
heart. Now I think I'm certain it's obscured by clouds.

Severed Heads Cuisine with piscatorial
BJ Cole heart of the moment
White noise an electric storm
Jon and vangelis friends of Mr Cairo
Faith no more angel dust

and despite ween being a massive part of my teen and found
adult years...no one album stands out for me.

checked it out before now

my mum likes jon and vangelis

Vangelis i like alot of what i have heard, i need to listen

Even Bowie and Meat Beat Manifesto wouldn't make my all time
faves. It's so hard to pick faves when I'm growing out of a
lot of music that I love

yes i often go through phases and come back to stuff and
sometimes i like it just as much and other times i feel like
im too old to listen to it, im sure its a familiar feeling
to everyone, perhaps i should stop listening and create more
of my own

im slowly making more music. well, really im just
understanding how to get in to the habit without quitting.

so hard to remember what's in your head once you get to the
gear. it's fucking just like walking in to a music store
back in the day. have all these ideas of what you want, walk
in and my mind goes blank.

and yea. i could have sworn i was out of angel dust and all
about king for a day...then i listened to angel dust like it
were only a few years after the release and fell in love
with it again

mike patton is best live after he evolves his
vocal...incredible stuff.

yes you have to make it a routine otherwise you loose the
knack very quickly, when i was younger i literally could
spend 24 hours making music, it was brilliant, my energy
levels are much diminished, need to eat more fruit or
something

less than a month ago, really hyper mash approach;
Historie de Melodie Nelson, and L'Homme à la Tête de Chou
by Gainsbourg, Elseq 1-5, Close to the Edge by Yes,
Radiohead- a Moon Shaped Pool.

there is this guy who called steven wilson, i dont listen to
his music but he does re-transfers/remixes of some classic
prog and he always does a amazing job, apparently he is a
big aphex twin fan as well which is weird, Richard should
give him a call

I always wanted Air to do a near full prog rock album. Some
prog'ish shit on 10000 hz, virgin suicides, and maybe a song
or two on love2

Also the other three were thrown out on a whim. It's not
some massively calculated choice made because I had a gun to
my head.

16 or 17. never heard anything like it....i care b/c you do
didn't meet my Ventolin standard

Marazanvose mix is groovy, i like ventolin the track but i
cant listen cos of the high frequencies, i know its
intentional but reminds me bad tinnitus episodes

I was there! Been living in Montreux for a while now.

Yeah Hyperflake, I really enjoy some Yes albums, and Fragile
has one of my favourite pieces: Heart of the Sunrise.

yes very good answer

im always hesitant to share music taste, i get defensive
internally when people say thats shit, cos music is very
personal, well for me. People cant understand why you like
such and such, actually what you like is what makes us
really individual. Sorry i know i wasnt providing anything
insightful im just posting my internal dialogue
