Red Dwarf 11

red dwarf 11
"
Henry Norman - the man behind everything from Alan Partridge
to Mighty Boosh to Moone Boy to Gavin & Stacey - will
executive produce. Steve Coogan's company Baby Cow will
handle the production this time around.

The budget is also big enough "to tell the stories Doug
wants to tell", and filming could move from Shepperton
Studios (where the comedy has been filmed since series III)
to Pinewood Studios. Quite the end of an era.

"

I think I preferred the low budget, crap set stories, rather
than the try hard, expensive production.

I liked the idea that being lost in space, stuck with one of
the worst people you could imagine, everthing seems so
isolated. Like a prison sentence within small grey confines,
but with a window over looking eternity and all possibility.

yeah the boys of the dwarf , alone on red dwarf is the
winning formula.
wasn’t that keen on 7 ( although a couple were great) and
8 was a long way off as the formula was broken.

12(3)45 was great!...6 was great too but, wasn't on red
dwarf. they blew it up, so it felt a bit claustrophobic.

I watched some red dwarf 10 today, had some good moments in
it, As Gliff pointed out the comedy hangs on the premise of
4 sad gits being stuck in space without any sexy women
around thats the whole point, its essentially like porridge
in space, soon as you introduce an outsider the whole
dynamic falters, well it did in series 7, and 8

There are some great rimmer bits in 10..i love Lister with
his kebab, the computer gets completely obliterated
repeatedly with curry sauce and lager.

lister:.......or are you gonna carry on being a lying
cheating weasel ...pretending to be something your not?

rimmer..pause......" I think we all know the answer to this"

"how do you know they were naked? "

"...cause i watched them do it."

"reRaagghhhhh"

"hush little baby don't say a word ...daddies got a dead
cert at the 3.30 at Chepstow.""

Apparently kryten punched Richie in the face when he did
that barrage of punches ...so much so...that he hurt his
hand. ...he told ade in a carpool.

Recording return of the jedi 'the young ones' was probably
on, or luke had a vhs at the studios. 1982 was the first
series.

ha, wRik was likely in Lukes head during his jedi dual with
Vader.

now that's pretty potty.

the chepstow line is probably my favourite bottom line

yes Mark Hamill seems a bit of an anglophile, then again he
has spent many years filming over here,
