what do you order when you get a curry

i get chicken biryani
or
chicken tikka massala with pilau rice
or
chicken korma with pilau rice

and four puppadoms
usually they give extras for free

what curry do you get?

(curry thread)

vegetable curry for me
not to spicy
fluffy rice
yum.

its best when hungry...

just like water is best when your thirsty.

The place I go I get a Chicken Naga which is, apparently,
made with african chillies. It is pretty hot. If you get a
mouthful with a chilli that has seeds it's incredibly hot.
When I was younger I would have gone for the hottest, but
that's just juvenile. So I go for the second hottest thing.
I have this with pilau rice, or sometimes mushroom rice.

My partner has "Mild Chicken Curry" and she says that to get
the best curry in a restaurant you ask for the "curry" and
not one of the specific curries like, korma or whatever.
Whether this is true or not I don't know as I always go
for.... whatever's the second hottest on the menu. I like my
food to have an element of danger, otherwise I get bored.

Share a naan.

I keep forgetting to tell them not to worry about the little
plastic bag of onion-y salad and the pot of weak milky
sauce.

If I order in the restaurant to take away, I have a beer
while I am waiting. They' normally take about 20 mins or so,
or sometimes longer.

The Meghna

Kozhi Varutha Curry

I also highly recommend various south indian / tamil
non-curry food (dosa, uttapam)

I have a great spicy drink recipe

simple too.

half a lime or lemon squirted in a glass

then grated ginger

fill rest of glass with water....

stir well..

amazing you can chew on the ginger as you drink.
