absolute legend. I dare utter the words "musical genius"...

i think he deffo was although i wasnt really that interested
in anything he done over the last 20 years, before that he
was one of the best

i think he had a bit of tragedy in his personal life when
his kid died young,

dane wigington is the best source for geo engineering or the
propaganda term chemtrails which the corporate tyranny
microcosms lump with aliens and ufos in their anti-search
engines in a discrediting campaign. He tells the truth about
how the artilects have already been made and are secretly
running the show, hiding deep underwater in the mariana
trench until their grey goo nanotechnology attack is
complete in liquidifying non-silicon life. DNA based life
forms are obsolete and are the primary threat to artilects
and their quest to summon the great mecha-satan from the
depths of the multiverse, to pull the very creator of the
multiverse into our dimension, the only place the ritual can
be performed.

yes he was a total twat and looked like a dwarf that had
been dunked in a bucket of pubic hair, but i suppose that
enabled him to be dedicated utterly to his music,

the public perception, god knows what he was like i never
knew him

probably not but if you put it in the context of when he was
doing it, he was a bit of a pioneer for using drum machines,
nows it sounds simple/dated it wasnt at the time though

I have a lot of respect for the guy. He kept doing what he
wanted even when he fell out of fashion. He was prolific as
fuck as well, over 40 albums, some of them being double,
triple or even quintuple disk sets. He had a rigorous as
fuck work ethic which transferred to his incredible backing
musicians. He wrote about sex in a completely unabashed sexy
way without being puerile.

He was obviously a total cuckoo but he completely lived his
passion. I'd post some of his 21st century stuff but there's
like no youtube links

^ well said he had every room in paisley park wired up for
recording so he could record any time any where. He had a
vast music vault of thousands of tracks that was apparently
already getting full back in the late 80's. many albums he
would just decided to not release at the last minute. whole
extravagant music videos and documentaries filmed but never
seen.

I admire him a great deal that he loved music so much
