can we have a moratorium on people dying please

sad news Admiral Ackbar was one of my favorite characters by
far

fortunately the actor who plays Bib Fortuna is still alive,
the guy who died was his dubbed voice

Such a great Admiral and with his reverb unit, boadcasting
Lando across the entire fleet. I will never forget.

Apparently he may have made it into ep 8 in time. I read
earlier today, forget which site though tho.

the little slump of relief he does when the super star
destroyer is vanquished is great

i would have watched an entire film of him commanding the
rebel fleet that would have been amazing

a computer : "make me an admiral ackbar movie, fully
immersive." ; )

One can well imagine in the future "movies" will be
immersive, it would be cool to walk around Mos Eisley while
it was all "going on". I suppose one criticism of Force
Awakens is that it zipped along and you never felt you
"inhabited" the places it touched upon.

ye i kind of would have liked more walking around the cramp
streets of Mos Eisley

anyone seen the Rogue One trailer, didnt really do much for
me must say, just seemed like it could be any sort of modern
comic book film but had a Star Wars splash of paint,
hopefully next trailer is better

He's still alive, somewhere, in time, in some galaxy... He's
only lost his voice for christ's sake!

the guy who did the voice actually sounded like he lived
underwater, like how imagine the creature from the black
lagoon would sound
