Well been practicing it for one mounth and it's one of the
best thing happening in my life right now. Being able to
know that you are dreaming and then control it... Being able
to fly, feel, touch, everything... And people allways
references it to the movie Inception, it's so dramaticaly
boring, my dreams are a lot more fun than Inception. I'm on
a french speaking forum for lucid dreaming so I won't be
redirecting you to that one but it's amazing and so IDM !!!

Yes mines have always been strange but when you lucid dream
you realize you are dreaming so then you can do what you
want you can be calm and walk around a snowy mountain or fly
with birds, or fuck birds... limitless, you take possession
of your mind and play with it, it really is magical...

ahah it already plays with you In Real Life ! You have to
embrace it ! You feel alive and then more. Simple way is to
look at your hand plenty times during the day and asking
yourself "I am dreaming" When you do this a lot during the
day there is a good chance that you will try it during
dreaming state, but watching your hand then will not be the
same (6 fingers instead of 5, strange looking ans so on) And
then you become lucid and take control of your dream... it's
frightening but sooooooo worth it !

another Reality Test is breathing from the nose while
pinching your nose, in real life it doesn't work, but in the
dreaming state you can breath while pinching that's when you
realize you are sleeping and then you can do anything...

once i had the impression to be awake while sleeping, kind
the sensation you have in deep meditation, of your body
sleeping and the mind awake, maybe i smoked too much weed i
can't remember anyway i've had the impression that an evil
was on my back and that was sodomizing me. i also heard an
evil laughter. it stopped when i opened my eyes.

well the first thing is if you want to lucid dreaming is not
smoking weed, it uses the same parts of your brain when you
smoke weed and when you dream so if you smoke you don't even
remember most of your dreams.
And then myself I suffered from SP (sleep paralyisis) for
long times when you know you are dreaming, it's a nightmare
but you cannot wake up. Can be terrifying but if you
suffered them you could be a person that can be experiencing
lucid dreaming...

wasn't a dream

ok well I forgot for one second xltronic was only about
trolling ;)
What I was trying to say is that what you experience with
weed takes the same part of your brain than when youre
dreaming. I've been smoking a loooot of weed years ago and
stoped mostly realizing that I didn't remember any of my
dreams left... So it doesn't help for dreaming and more so
if you want to be lucid (mind you I still drink gallons of
beer and it seems fine -for lucid dreaming and for my liver)

what do you mean? i wasn't trolling i was concerned, it's
one of the weirdest things of my life. didn't think i would
speak about it here but on a second thought this is the only
place where i would speak about it. i got your points on
weed i agree totally with you was talking the other day
about smoking and not dreaming (or not remembering dreams)
the other day with Hyperflake

it could be a possibility to dream within a dream but it
would take a lot of mind strength, and first of all when you
first lucid dream, it's so extatic and overwhelming that
it's even hard to stay lucid. So the first step is to
stabalize the fact that yyou are lucid, by looking around
and concentrating, and then maybe you can do what you want
(it's never lasting for really long so you have to think
about it before) So then dreaming that you are dreaming it
would mean that you are the dreamer of the dream (IDM pun
intended) :P
