oblique strategies

has anyone used the, they seem handy even if they sound a
bit ostentatious

I have an app version of this on my phone. I have not found
it very useful for what it is intended to be useful for -
help you break out of blocks in your creative endeavors. Ok,
so I'm getting nowhere with this bassline but I have the
most awesome beat going. I pick a card: "Emphasize the
flaws"...well, thank you very much, mr. Eno, that gave me a
whole new perspective on things :p

Can you still dial numbers by pressing the hook switch
really quickly? 1 pause for 1 .. 10 quick presses for 0..
dial home from the taxi line. The fake rotary fones nowadays
use DTMF :(

i don't know. but when i was a kid someone put out a black
powder that sprinkled on the rotary, it was supposed to show
a dwarf climbing the phone, watched through a pair of
special lenses.
