I hope craig comes back for it.

pinching razor and that spining one...and that flipping
one....and the one that splits into two and they both
flip..that was flipping great.

two new red dwarf series coming soon also...ones been filmed
already.

cool.

I love red dwarf especially series 1-5 and i sort of like
the rest, and the last one was actually decent compared to
series 7, 8 and 9

"Robot Waaaaaarrrrrss" as he would say it.

the last series of RD was much better than before i really
liked it, but wasnt as refined as 1-5(6)...its like they
rushed it ..or were blind to certain things. i wish rob
grant would look at it for an afternoon and then spread the
icing properly and put the cherry on top. There are some
class A moments. for example...

did you see when Lister was eating his kebab over the
scanner scope?
he thoroughly screws up a poor computer station. lol

Series 6 was still very good yet a step down from 5, series
7 was when everything started to go downhill as Rob Grant
left and the focus of the show changed to be more drama
based, wasnt keen on the new kkochanski, or the change in
Krytens character to be like an OCD housewife

Seires 10 wasnt on the same level as the first 5, one reason
i suspect is that Grant was the better comedy writer, im not
sure about that though to be honest, but since Doug Naylor
has been on his own, it really isnt as laugh out loud funny.
Still much better than the dreck that was series 7,8,9

do you notice the audience (all fans) are desperate to
laugh? i'm watching thinking..have i got another comedy on
in another browser window?

sometimes there is a 'great' joke or scene and people
don’t laugh, that is fair enough! People can be so into
what is happening they dont have to laugh. However,
sometimes the joke is poor or not even a joke and yet they
laugh hysterically, that is not acceptable....( freqy pulls
a comedy nazi salute. O/

the first 5(6) series seemed to me to be natural and i dont
really mind there is an audience laugh track as I agree with
their output of laughs.

but i have high hopes for 11 and 12. I hope it does not end
and we go on till they are 80 or 90 years old.

I take that last one back. just these guys on screen
together is funny.

there are so many great moments.

funny, when i watch start trek TOS I see where lots of it
came from. or where they could grab a few stories. : )

yeah she was totally lush, still i got that vibe that she
would expect you to do all the housework and lie on her back
and not make eye contact during sex, i could be completely
wrong of course!

Hyperflake.....I was just thinking. Assuming of course
we're not dealing with five-dimensional objects in a basic
Euclidean geometric universe and given the essential premise
that all geo-mathematics is based on the hideously limiting
notion that one plus one equals two...and not as Astemeyer
correctly postulates that one and two are in fact the same
thing observed from different precepts.... The theoretical
poly-dri-doc-deca-wee-hedron-a-hexa-sexa-hedro-adicon-a-di-
shape described by Siddus must therefore be: a
bi-dolly-he-deca-dodron....Everything else is popycock.
Isn't that so?

No problem Freqy, i got the reference. this reminds me of a
story. My brother works for a university, dont ask me why
but once he was asked to accompany a coach load of
academics to Alton towers, which is generally a bad idea,
anyway there was this one mathematician from Moscow who
obviously hadn't left the lab for a decade or so, emaciated,
massive long beard fits the stereotype to a tee. Anyway this
bloke is going round calculating all the parabolic arcs of
the rides, like nemesis in his head and really enjoying
himself, think he sort of enjoyed the rollercoaster as wel.
So in a nutshell he was bit like rimmer in the episode
holoshop

what a really great bloke....calculating such infos
....taking as much pleasure in science as all the kids at
the fun fare.....i wonder if he provided the information in
Madarin?....and if he could type it out on two keyboards and
cross over hands....I loved the way rimmer did that like a
70's rock synth player. and that lovely bleepy sound as he
did it. lol.

have you seen rimmer and kryten in caropool?

long one, so one day you have a nice cupa tea on the go.

they should bring back holly

hattie or norman.

.......grit.........lol.

Rimmer: What is that? (points to a symbol in a space code
book)
Holly: It's a time hole!
Rimmer: Don't help him!
Kryten: It is ...it's a time hole!
rimmer of course it isnt.
Holly: It's a time hole!
Rimmer: It is clearly not a time hole. It is clearly a blue
giant about to go supernova. (Looks out of window) THAT.....
is a time hole.

Aaaaaargh!

probably a coincidence right, but in the episode polymorph,
Lister says "come on your slags" and the episode is from the
same year as the track 1990

A new challenger appears:
LAZY_TITLE
Keep in mind that skynet will instantly process all internet
data, including the above video, in its quantum neural hyper
net, before choosing a body to manifest in.
Anyway, the only job left is mechanical turk. You get paid 2
cents to be a literal cog in the system, and the entire
purpose of your labor... is to advance AGI in order to make
your very labor obsolete. Your pitchforks will be
whimsically melted like matrix spoons. At this point death
is merciful, compared to alternatives like searching the
entire set of genetic monstrosities capable of being
produced by DNA and manifesting you as the one with the
maximum sensitivity to and capability to store and process
pain, and cloning you into uncountable instance throughout
the multiverse, each linked into your one hellish
consciousness and giving this being infinite lifespan. First
ask yourself if the above scenario is possible, and then
whether the universe ultimately calculates every single
possibility. Good luck.

^ is it just me who think for the first minute or so before
you get your skull crushed by a terminator in the barren
wastes of a nuclear holocaust, its it only me who would
briefly think 'wow this is quite cool' as purple lasers
illuminated the night sky

also no Craig Charles for new series *boo*, just that
ubiquitous panel show baranacle Dara O'briain, who i dont
dislike i just cant imagine him saying awooga

kachasziiieeee

chris barrie. for gods sake. he made great vids on
mechanical stream engines and stuff. he would have been
awesome

imagine a rimmer salute before each battle.

or kryten

or holly ....on a screen like in red dwarf.

I hope they have holly in the new series? he sounds great
in that clip.

or hattie, i just don’t get why they ditched her. she was
my fave.

red dwarf with out holly ...is like 2001 without hal...or
knightrider without kit.

or star wars without c3p0 or r2.

I was talking to my brother before and i was saying on
British tv at least there isnt much stuff made for our

anymore
